Bride

A screenprint by Ukrainian artist Serhiy Savchenko depicting a room with a solitary coat stand from which a wedding dress hangs. The work contemplates absence, happiness and its ephemerality, love and estrangement. Conceived as a reflection on the eponymous painting from the artist’s WARdROBE series, which addressed abandoned homes and belongings during the war.
