In the heart of the famous sandbelt, The Yarra Yarra Golf Club, established in 1898, was relocated to East Bentleigh in 1928, on land which was once used for market gardens. Famous course architect Alex Russell, in partnership with the great Dr Alistair Mackenzie, created a golf course that would lead to worldwide recognition by amateurs and professionals alike.

Renowned for its tranquil and private setting, the course boasts contoured greens and undulating fairways and is complemented by picturesque gardens and an abundant bird life. All adding to the charm and enjoyment of a round of golf at Yarra Yarra.

Along a gently meandering driveway you first glimpse and then drive past Yarra Yarra’s lovely old clubhouse - a touch of old world charm that creates the perfect setting to entertain your guests.

The golf course presents many challenges to both beginners and more experienced players. The Club has been the host for six Women’s Australian Open Championships and former Club players, Robert Allenby and Stuart Appleby, have been pleased to accept honorary membership together with Gary Player and Karrie Webb.
