Casey Coolwell-Fisher is a proud Quandamooka woman of the Nunukul people from Minjerribah/Tjerrangerri (North Stradbroke Island). Casey has been a valued supporter of Aboriginal Art Co since we first opened our retail store, where she continues to stock her products. She has also presented a solo exhibition in our Vault Gallery.

This bauble features a dolphin design, which is an important part of Casey’s artwork. The same dolphin will appear in her upcoming Magpie Goose x Quandamooka clothing design, to be released before Christmas.

Casey is the co-founder of CHABOO, a home décor and design business she runs with her partner, Roy Fisher. Through CHABOO, she blends cultural storytelling with contemporary design, creating graphic illustrations, hand-painted artworks, and murals. Her work shares the powerful stories of her people in a vibrant and accessible way.
