Casey Coolwell-Fisher is a proud Quandamooka woman of the Nunukul people from Minjerribah/Tjerrangerri (North Stradbroke Island). Casey is a valued supporter of Aboriginal Art Co. She has stocked her products with us since we opened our retail store, and Casey has had a solo exhibition in our Vault Gallery.
This bauble is of the turtle which also features on Casey's Magpie Goose textile design that will be released before Christmas.
Casey is the co-founder of CHABOO, a home décor and design business she runs with her partner, Roy Fisher. Through CHABOO, Casey blends cultural storytelling with contemporary design, specializing in graphic illustrations, hand-painted art, and murals. Her work provides a unique platform for sharing the powerful narratives of her people through visually captivating creations.
