1 hour consultation – Running/Walking for Beginners (#INF028)

This consultation will include a discussion on overall fitness goals and provide a tailored plan to begin a personal walking or running program. Consultation will be approximately 1 hour. Heather Fischer, Director, Policy and Intergovernmental Coordination, started running in 2004 as a complete beginner. After completing her first 5K she was hooked and eventually became an instructor with the Running Room, instructing everything from ‘Learn to Run’ through to a Marathon. Heather instructed for about 10 years overall. She is also a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
