Nadine McDonald-Dowd, a proud Yuwi woman, is deeply dedicated to celebrating and advancing arts, culture, and community.

As a former Aboriginal Art Co Board member and an ongoing supporter, Nadine’s contributions to the organisation are invaluable. This year, she led a still-life drawing workshop and is set to host an upcoming wreath-making workshop, further enriching the creative programs at Aboriginal Art Co.

Nadine is also the visionary behind Blak Botanics, a First Nations floristry business based on the Sunshine Coast. Through her stunning floral arrangements, she fosters a profound connection to Country, reclaiming and honouring the land in meaningful ways. With an extensive background in arts and theatre, Nadine remains at the forefront of inspiring creative projects, using her talents to champion cultural expression and empower Indigenous communities. Her work, both artistic and entrepreneurial, continues to be a testament to her passion for nurturing cultural identity and innovation.
