Ebony Birks is a proud Kamilaroi and Dunghutti descendant and the owner of EB Jewellery and a talented jewellery designer, sculptor, and artist.

Ebony was one of the first staff members at Aboriginal Art Co, working in our retail store while developing her brand, EB Jewellery. Now dedicated full-time to her practice, Ebony continues to highlight her commitment to sustainability and cultural storytelling through her exquisitely crafted jewellery.

Ebony creates exquisite pieces that are deeply rooted in her heritage and inspired by the natural world. Each piece of EB Jewellery is thoughtfully crafted using recycled precious metals, with sustainability at the core of her practice. Ebony’s designs tell stories and celebrate culture, connecting the past to the present and offering a reflection of her identity and heritage. By consciously resisting the fast-paced, mass-produced fashion industry, she produces made-to-order jewellery, minimizing material waste and allowing for greater artistic freedom. This approach not only reduces environmental impact but also gives Ebony the space to push the boundaries of her craft, creating jewellery that is more than just an accessory—each piece is a work of art, imbued with meaning and intentionality.
