Nora Telford was born in Regina, Saskachewan in 1923 and died in Burlington Ontario in 2021. She was best known for her mastery of the batik form of painting. Her painting POPPIES is in the permanent collection of the City of Toronto public museum, The Market Gallery. Nora Telford is also listed in the Dictionary of Canadian Artists on the Government of Canada's Canadian Heritage website under Artists in Canada.
