Bring on the Funk, featuring the book “[filtered word]: The Owner’s Manual” by Dr. Kristi Funk, the surgeon who treated Sheryl Crow and Angelina Jolie. It covers breast cancer prevention and risk, types, treatment options and how to help prevent reoccurrence. Dr. Funk is also the founder of the Pink Lotus Foundation. Like the CGH Health Foundation, her Foundation helps low-income, uninsured and underinsured women in California receive financial aid for breast cancer screenings, diagnosis and treatment. Also included is a $35 gift certificate for Lotus Wellness Spa & Salon, pink lotus crystal, Maleficent DVD, “Sheryl” crow figurine, Sheryl name bracelet, and a size XL t-shirt.
