This year I created two projects. I made something I call the “Flame Monsterhead” which is the most decked out motor head you’ve ever seen. I got this idea from the punisher skull. I had a lot of fun making this project and I put a lot of effort into it. I also made a fire pit with one of my best friends and that was a lot of fun. I was able to teach him how to weld and at the same time make an awesome project. There is no way I could have done this without Mr. Olson. Mr. Olson gave me the foundations and from there, every year, we make amazing projects. Enrolling in Metal Trades is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

I never thought I was an artist. I didn’t enjoy art until I started working on the sculptures in Metal Trades. This project has helped me realize that art isn’t all about painting or drawing, it’s about your imagination and how far you can take things. I never thought that I could be good at art, but I found an art form that I enjoy.
