Jean Finlayson was an artist from Cooper. She spent her childhood in Northern Quebec and considered the Canadian Shield her muse. For a time she sold her unique braided rugs and cat toys at the One of a Kind Christmas Craft Show in Toronto. She participated in a number of juried shows and for six years she showed her work in Mysteries of the Park in Algonquin Park.
