Wyatt Severs designs one-of-a-kind wood pieces inspired by the characteristics of the wood in an organic process. This ornamental platter follows the contours and shapes of the Cherry wood, finished with wax and danish oil.

Wyatt Severs is a studio artist located in Western Kentucky. He has taught at Arrowmont, the Appalachian Center for Crafts, the Paducah School of Art & Design, Penland School of Craft, the John C. Campbell Folk School, and at Anderson Ranch Arts Center. His work has been exhibited at the Cedarhurst Center for the Arts, Evansville Museum of Arts, and Indiana University. Wyatt’s work has been featured on Kentucky Educational Television, and in 500 Cabinets, Woodworking Magazine, Making Good, and Maker Moxie.
