Dow Redcorn has participated at Arrowmont as a student and an instructor’s assistant. He constructs his pieces on the pottery wheel and then carves away clay to create his signature tree inspired mugs. Redcorn uses an airbrush to create soft surfaces of glaze and create an atmosphere on the mugs surface. He states, “Current work includes atmospheric landscapes of deep forests and tree images. Sometimes, shapes include "Tree" pots, stump mugs, acorn salt and pepper shakers, bird and animal inspired pitchers. Anything is imaginable.”
