Born in Melbourne, Jewell currently lives in Gippsland, Victoria and has previously spent time living in West Africa.

Her paintings and installations use plainspoken materials that allow for uncertainty, subtle gestures and softness. Recent works continue an ongoing experimentation with indigo pigment using soy milk as a binder.

Exhibition opportunities have included C A V E S Gallery in Melbourne, Spring 1883 in Sydney and arcYinnar, Gippsland, Victoria. She graduated in 2016 - Bachelor of Visual & Media Art - through the Gippsland Centre for Art & Design, Federation University, Gippsland.
