A two-hour middle-grade mentoring session with Sarah Armstrong.

In this session you can divide the time however you like between Sarah’s reading time and one-on-one mentoring from Sarah (on Zoom or in-person). She’ll help you nut out aspects of plot and character, structure and voice.

Sarah is a highly regarded writing teacher with two decades of teaching experience. She teaches the annual Novel Intensive for Byron Writers Festival and Writing For Young People at Southern Cross University. She’s written three novels for adults (one of which was shortlisted for the Miles Franklin Award) and two novels for readers aged 9 and up, the first of which — ‘Big Magic’ — was a CBCA Notable book.

Her next middle-grade book will be out in 2025.
