This piece originated from waste materials. It shows us that everything with vision can be transformed.  These pieces are a representation of the children who are part of the Safe Passage project.  Each of these children are like seeds, which have been prepared and over time have been transformed with the help of the hands of the gardener (in this case Safe Passage) who with care and dedication, has cultivated and sowed the seeds of knowledge in each one of them; so that they can flourish in the garden of life and disseminate their seeds of knowledge as agents of change in future generations.
