UNMASKED - KARLA MARTINI

Due to the current situation, mask production has exponentially increased, and like all mass produced products, small defects can create millions of waste by not being able to be sold.  Thus creating a new source of non recyclable material. For this reason my pieces are made of this particular material. I was inspired by the pandemic especially by the feeling of uncertainty towards the future and the longing for a life without fear.
