NAIDOC Week at Cathedral Square

NAIDOC WEEK celebrates the history, culture and achievement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NADIOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous culture, but by Australians from all walks of life.

Cathedral Square is auctioning an original artwork by local Indigenous artist Justin Martin, to commemorate NAIDOC. The artwork, Goanna Dreaming, will be auctioned from 4 July to 8 August, with all proceeds donated to the Ruah Community Services.

Ruah Community Services have been supporting vunerable people experiencing homelessness, family & domestic violence and mental health issues for more than 60 years. Their work endevours to create postive change in the community by changing lives and creating opportunities for those who need it most. Find out more about their work at: www.ruah.org.au.
