This is a 15" x 22" shapeprint (monoprint), made in 2017.

Laurie Szujewska (shoe yév skä) is a printmaker, typographer, and graphic designer. She currently is making prints on a Vandercook Universal I letterpress. She has chosen to use antiquated technology in her work not for its nostalgic characteristics, but because now freed from its former utilitarian purpose, it is available for the artistic process of play.

Laurie's prints and graphic work have been exhibited in various venues in Europe and the United States and are included in many Artist Book Collections at universities, libraries, and private collections.
