Family Acid Rainbow Tunnel Poster

The Rainbow Tunnel along Highway 101/1 leads to a spectacular view of San Francisco. The tunnel was recently renamed The Robin Williams tunnel, and remains an iconic touchpoint for Bay Area locals and visitors to the area. This photo was taken by Roger Steffens in December 1974.  Measurements: 11"x17", printed on thick paper by Paper Chase Press.

Steffens served in Vietnam and spent a year in Morocco before visiting Jamaica for the first time in 1976. He has a large collection of photographs covering his Vietnam service and Jamaican musicians, including many slides which were digitized and released via Instagram in 2013. Steffens is a neighbor of Peter McDowell in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
