About this item

This beautiful Batik is made by Ron Skowronek, a Pacific Northwest artist craftsman and donated by GSF's Nikki Mccoy.

Ron's work combines the beauty of the outdoor with the serenity of movement. This piece looks lovely with light filtered through, or on a solid wall. Best mounted using dowels to support the fabric.

For those who don't know, Batik is a technique of wax-resist dyeing technique originated from Java, Indonesia. This is both an art and a craft. Absolutely mesmerizing!
