BACK TO LIFE - SCALO

This piece is inspired by the project “Limpio mi país”, based in Santa Rosa, Guatemala. A project that has been able to eliminate many clandestine landfill sites. By selling plastic bottle caps found on beaches and mangroves, this project has been able to purchase school desks for schools in the areas. This piece represents the problem and damage consumerism causes to the environment, also the lack of recycling and individual responsibility in taking care of our environment. This bag has snack packages as well, that represent the amount of pollution on our planet.
