Nicholas Seidner received a BFA from New York State School of Ceramics at Alfred University in 1992. He was resident at The Archie Bray Foundation and Pewabic Pottery. In 1998, Seidner established Rising Meadow Pottery in Middletown Springs, Vermont - a space with kilns, studios, teaching facility and gallery. He uses locally harvested fuel from regional flooring mills in his wood burning kiln, as well as regional raw glaze materials including wood ash, slate, yellow ochre, granit, talc, marble, ilmenite.  https://www.risingmeadowpottery.com/
