Arrowmont Instructor Tony Tomlinson taught glass workshops, encouraging students not to be scared of the material through practical and patient demonstrations. This set of handmade glass coasters and container are a gift from former Arrowmont assistant director Bill Griffith. Tomlinson created four square coasters with circular embossment to accommodate glassware in solid shades of red and blue. The custom container combines the coaster colors in a checkered pattern. Tony Tomlinson operated Glass Circus studio in Multnomah Village in Portland, OR. He was an Arrowmont instructor and taught classes in fused glass and stained glass processes.
