Manuscript critique (first six chapters) and Zoom call with Keshini Naidoo

Keshini Naidoo will critique the first six chapters of your manuscript, offering advice and editorial suggestions on the overall novel, along with tips to polish the work as well as commenting on commercial viability. She will then follow up with a 45-minute Zoom call to discuss the work in more detail.

Keshini has extensive experience of breaking books into bestseller status, with her biggest authors selling millions of copies in digital sales alone. Having started her editorial career at Avon (HarperCollins UK), she then moved to being Associate Publisher at Bookouture, where she published global bestsellers including Angela Marsons and Kathryn Croft. She was named a Bookseller Rising Star in 2017, because she has “unabashedly embraced commercial titles”. In 2018, she co-founded Hera Books, an independent commercial fiction publisher that publishes across the genres of women's fiction and crime and thriller with a focus on amplifying underrepresented voices. Hera Books was acquired by Canelo in 2021.
