Venetia is currently the Associate Publisher for Gill Children's Books, working across fiction, picture books and non fiction. Prior to that she worked as Publisher of the 6+ list at Macmillan Children's Books, as well as at Simon & Schuster and Hodder Children's Books. She has edited authors including Hilary McKay, Lauren St John, Elizabeth Laird, Katherine Rundell, Frank Cottrell-Boyce and Roddy Doyle, amongst others, and particularly loves middle-grade fiction.
