Got questions about writing and publishing books for kids? Here's your chance to have a 20-minute, one-on-one phone or Zoom call with literary agent and award-winning author Miranda Paul. Use the time as you wish to ask questions from an industry professional who will answer with honesty and heart. A time will be decided upon mutually if you are the winner. The winner must be someone who wishes to write or illustrate books for children, teens, or young adults/new adults and at least 18 years old. The call will be in English.
Miranda Paul is an award-winning author of more than twenty fiction and nonfiction books for children, including her latest book MAMA IN CONGRESS, co-authored with U.S. Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib and her son Adam Tlaib. Her 2019 book Nine Months, illustrated by Caldecott Medalist Jason Chin released simultaneously in four languages and was named a Boston Globe-Horn Book Honor Book for Nonfiction. Miranda is a literary agent at the Erin Murphy Literary Agency, an annual faculty member at the Highlights Foundation, and a co-founding member of the nonprofit organisation We Need Diverse Books.
