About this item
I am offering a critique/1-2-1 of the synopsis and up to 10,000 words of your novel or chapter book for children, including editorial feedback, thoughts on suitability for the market, and advice on next steps. We can discuss over zoom (up to 1 hour) or in writing, whichever is preferred, and I am happy to answer general questions on the editorial process, the publishing industry or submitting to agents. I can accept chapter books for ages 7+ or novels for middle grade or young adult readers.
Nicki Marshall is an editor with over 25 years’ commercial publishing experience, including 15 years specialising in children’s fiction. She is a mentor for the Golden Egg Academy, All Stories and Accord Literary, while also working directly with individual writers.
