These intimate portraits of everyday Bermudians aim to tell the viewer something about the individuals captured and the island as a collective. The images intend to empower the subjects by celebrating their choice of dress, cultural affiliations and connection to Bermuda heritage. These representations are nuanced and specific to the specific subjects yet aim to embody the wider island community

Portrait and documentary photographer and artist Meredith Andrews lives and works on her island home of Bermuda, where her clients include Lonely Planet, Travel & Leisure, Nylon, New York Magazine and the Bermuda Tourism Authority.
