A wonderful chance to secure Friend Membership of the amazing Henley Literary Festival, home to some incredible author talks and events. In 2021 the Henley Literary Festival plans to run from 2-10 October.

About the festival:

Henley Literary Festival is established as one of the UK’s biggest book festivals. The 2019 festival was our biggest yet with 170 events for adults and children. The line-up included former Prime Minister Theresa May, comedian Paul Merton, cookery legend Mary Berry, England’s greatest batsman Sir Alastair Cook and best-selling authors Jojo Moyes and David Nicholls. Our stellar line-up extended to our fantastic programme for schools and children which included Michael Rosen, Onjali Q. Rauf, Chris Riddell, Konnie Huq and McFly’s Dougie Poynter.

The Festival was launched in 2007 and previous speakers have included John Mortimer, Doreen Lawrence, John Major, Julia Donaldson, Richard E. Grant, Candace Bushnell, John Sentamu, Cressida Cowell and Graham Nash.

Things may remain uncertain for the year ahead, but we are already working on every eventuality and thanks to you, can promise you our biggest and furthest-reaching Festival this Autumn! We’re planning to bring the events live from the Festival with the addition of some being live streamed. These are tough times for many, but if you are in a position to become a Friend of the Festival for 2021 you will not only be providing vital support, but you will be the first to hear our news and book tickets, as well as receiving special offers from us and our partners throughout the year.
