David Barnett is an author and journalist. He writes funny books for Orion, such as the best-selling CALLING MAJOR TOM and sometimes scary books for other people, including ALIEN: COLONY WAR, out this Spring. He also writes comics for DC, 2000AD and others. He lives in the north of England and as a journalist works for the Guardian, Independent, BBC, Big Issue and lots of other places on a variety of topics. He likes pies and malt loaf and Jack Daniels Honey.
