ARTIST BIO
Mika Tennekoon (b. 1985) completed her MFA in Fine Art and has an FCC in printmaking from Kala Bhavan in Santiniketan, India. Her work explores such themes as our relationship with nature and the environment, our connection to the divine feminine, and the unseen. Tennekoon also works with multiple mediums such as photography, digital sketches and installation. Her medium varies from paper taken from old ledger books, to canvas and installation. The themes of nature, mankind, feminism and spirituality have a resounding presence throughout her body of work.
