Mercurial, ground breaking and disruptive are some of the superlatives often used to describe Eugene Ankomah aka (EA) and his work. But he can also equally be described as prolific, an artistic community cohesionist, a visionary and a humanitarian. With an ever evolving fashion sense, which is often reflected in the “characters” or “personas” he creates within his work.
As a former child prodigy, he has been surprising many with his powerful imagination and seemingly unlimited range of skills and varied approaches to art making for many years. For a younger generation, he has also become a symbol of the power of re-invention. Often surprising his audience and the media with unexpected, yet new and creatively relevant but thought provoking creations. In his own words, “I am a creative opportunist with a plan”.

Having shown his work and also performed in many countries in Europe, Africa, and the US. EA is an Artist who has successfully enjoyed an art career for over 30 years. A media favourite, with over 20 art awards under his belt. He has recently been nominated by BEFFTA Awards for ‘Man of the Year’ alongside the boxer Anthony Joshua and formula one racer Lewis Hamilton amongst others.

His works can be found in major private/ public collections, in the possession of a string of international celebrities and stars, various community collections and private collections, coupled with respect and admiration worldwide.

With an ever growing portfolio of truly impressive work, Mr Ankomah has recently been both creating for, and also consulted for some of the top brands in the world. These include Nike and Sports Direct who entrusted in his vision to contribute artworks to their new stores in 2021

Eugene is also dedicated to raising others to invest in their talents and helping them to realise their own potential.

Mr. Eugene Ankomah is also the Secretary General of WHD UK. (World Humanitarian Drive) an NGO aiming to promote Peace, Education, Trade Harmony world wide.
